The promise

From “I could never do that” to a website you’re proud of

Most people assume building a website means learning to code or paying hundreds of pounds. It doesn’t anymore. This book shows you how to simply describe what you want and let AI build it — then get it online for real.

What’s inside

17 short chapters, in six simple parts

Plain English the whole way, with a ready-to-use prompt for every step.

Part 1

Getting set up with Claude

Meet the AI that does the building, pick the right version, and set up a tidy workspace so it understands your project from the first message.

Chapters 1–3
Part 2

Planning your website

Get clear on what your site is for, choose a name that works, and buy your domain and hosting without the usual confusion.

Chapters 4–6
Part 3

Content & brand

Gather your words and images, create a simple logo and colours, and map out your pages — all with the AI’s help.

Chapters 7–9
Part 4

Building it

The heart of the book: how to talk to the AI, generate your whole site, and refine it until it looks exactly right.

Chapters 10–12
Part 5

Going live

Get your site online, cover the simple legal basics, run your launch checks, and make sure people can actually find you.

Chapters 13–15
Part 6 · optional

Going further

Take payments on your site, and even turn the whole skill into a way of earning — building sites for other people.

Chapters 16–17
A peek inside

You don’t write code — you write prompts

Every step gives you a ready-made prompt like this. Swap the bits in brackets for your own details, paste it in, and watch your site appear.

“Build me a one-page website for [my business], a [what you do] in [town]. Include a hero with a headline and a ‘Get in touch’ button, a services section, an about section, and a contact form. Make it clean, professional and friendly, and make sure it works well on mobile.”

— one of dozens of copy-and-go prompts in the book

Who it’s for

Written for people who don’t do tech

Small business owners

You need a proper website but can’t justify hundreds of pounds for one. Build it yourself for the price of a takeaway.

Side-hustlers & starters

You’ve got an idea, a service or a thing to sell, and you want to look the part online — quickly and cheaply.

The curious & nervous

You’ve always wanted to make a website but assumed it was beyond you. It isn’t — and this proves it, gently.

Questions

Good to know

Do I need any tech skills?
None at all. If you can type a message and describe what you want, you can do this. The book assumes you’re starting from zero and never asks you to read or write code.
Do I have to pay for the AI?
You can get started for free. For a full website build you may want a little more room, and the book explains your options plainly in Chapter 2 — including a tip for keeping the cost to almost nothing.
What exactly do I get?
A 17-chapter, step-by-step guide as a polished PDF and an ePub, plus a one-page cheat-sheet of every prompt used in the book. It’s delivered instantly as a download.
Will it work on my phone or tablet?
Yes — the ePub reads beautifully on phones, tablets and e-readers, and the PDF works everywhere. And the websites you build are made to work on mobile too.
What if it’s not for me?
If the book isn’t what you hoped, just reply to your receipt and we’ll sort you out. We’d rather you were happy than hold onto £15.
